Trying to find the silver lining...

Today started off lovely. Sent the kids off to catch the bus (on time!), enjoyed a morning coffee, and was well prepared to head out for a much anticipated ladies get together in the kitchen prepping meals... and then the truck wouldn't start. Battery maybe? Tried boosting... still wouldn't start. Finally I gave up and cried. Went back insid, had another coffee, and cried some more as my 2 year old filled my chore boots up with dog food. The silver lining? I managed to fill the screw holes in the awesome bench my husband installed in our front closet, and seal all the wood with varathane. It looks awesome. Still need to trim the upper cubbies and get baskets and hooks. I managed to get the truck started later on- had to clean the corrosion off the battery terminals and charge a few hours. All in all, a crappy day with faint silver lining.
